The Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) is an international organization aiming to achieve social prosperity and growth of the digital economy by unifying efforts to advance digital transformation and promote common interests.

Key responsibilities

  • Collaborate with project directors to plan budgets for DCO initiatives, assess feasibility and develop fund sourcing strategies
  • Coordinate DCO Funding Committee meetings to review proposed budgets and determine allocation of funds
  • Develop sponsorships and fund sourcing activities for DCO initiatives, incl. preparing required marketing material and leading communications
  • Identify and build relationships with potential DCO initiatives contributors incl. government and non-government entities
  • Conduct budget execution, monitoring and reporting for DCO initiatives
  • Prepare DCO initiatives annual accounts for the DCO Funding Committee and DCO Council to review and approve

Key capability requirements

  • 5+ years of professional experience in Fundraising, Financial Planning, and Budget Management
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or relevant field from an accredited Institution
  • Knowledge of accounting best practices and regulations; relevant certification (CPA equivalent, CMA) is a plus
  • High level of numeracy, forecasting and analytical skills
  • Ability to explain complex financial information in simple terms
