The Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) is an international organization aiming to achieve social prosperity and growth of the digital economy by unifying efforts to advance digital transformation and promote common interests.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate overall relationship between the Digital Space Accelerators and the Secretariat
  • Support Secretary General in decision-making on approval of Digital Space Accelerators in the Executive Board of the Council
  • Review the implementation of projects and initiatives and provide periodic update for the preparation of the Council reviews
  • Support the identification and mitigation actions in case of delay of projects and initiatives
  • Coordinate with the Digital Strategic Foresight Unit on overall annual strategic plan

Key capability requirements

  • 15+ years of professional experience in Digital, Policy Development or relevant fields; 7+ years with international teams and a variety of stakeholders executing projects to deliver exceptional outcomes
  • Prior experience in the digital areas, including Data Flows and Trust, Business Environment Stimulation and Support, Digital
  • Capabilities Enhancement, Capacity Building in Key Emerging Technologies, Public Administration & Government Efficiency,
  • Infrastructure Availability & Adoption Enhancement, Ethics in Technology, and Taxes and duties, is preferred
  • Master’s degree from an accredited Institution, preferably in Public Policy or digital-related area
  • Ability to lead and evaluate issues independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Ability to exercise good judgment in a rapidly changing environment
  • Excellent personal, political, analytical and communication skills
  • Experience in managing teams on multiple projects and providing direction to team members
