The Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) is an international organization aiming to achieve social prosperity and growth of the digital economy by unifying efforts to advance digital transformation and promote common interests.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead initiatives related to improving trustworthiness, human-centricity and ethics of technologies, in particular development of studies and policies
  • Collaborate with Project Managers and Digital Space Accelerators – representatives of member states and other stakeholders – while executing initiatives
  • Coordinate the development of deliverable documents towards implementing initiatives
  • Develop position statements on ethics and trustworthiness in technologies and represent Secretariat perspective on the ethics and trustworthiness in technologies related topics
  • Provide expert opinions and advice to the DCO Secretariat on ethics and trustworthiness in technologies

Key capability requirements

  • 10+ years of professional experience in digital economy public policy development
  • 5+ years of professional experience in trustworthiness and ethics of technologies
  • 5+ years of professional experience with international teams and a variety of stakeholders
  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution, preferably in public policy, law or digital-related area; Master’s degree is of advantage
  • Excellent leadership, collaborative, analytical and communication skills
