The Digital Cooperation Organization (DCO) is an international organization aiming to achieve social prosperity and growth of the digital economy by unifying efforts to advance digital transformation and promote common interests.

Key responsibilities

  • Review and organize the entire stack of the Secretariat’s accounting operations
  • Administer payrolls, monitor income (incl. members contributions) and expenditure
  • Create timely monthly financial statements and present them to the Secretary General
  • Ensure the compliance with reporting and bookkeeping requirements
  • Review existing technical accounting issues and develop measures to optimize them
  • Create and document business processes and accounting policies to optimize internal controls
  • Manage the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts
  • Oversee the Secretariat's month-end and year-end close processes

Key capability requirements

  • 4+ years of professional experience as a Financial Controller
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
  • Significant experience with general ledger functions, the month-end/year end close process and financial statements management
  • Good knowledge of accounting software and MS Office
  • Strong mathematical and administration skills
  • Professional certification such as CPA or CMA preferred
